Chlorine has been climbing.Turned down the SWG to 1 hour per day.Have not been swimming for a week and a half :grrrr: due to colder nights and no heater. Is it safe to turn off the SWG?
So how long were you running the SWG before you turned it down to 1 hour? Have you had a cover on it?
Kind of puzzles how it suddenly got high recently.
BTW, as you likely know, the minimum FC for your CYA of 60ppm is 3ppm of FC. Also realize, you are safe to swim up to shock level FC. For your CYA, anything under a FC of 24ppm is not a problem.
Have been running the SWG at 2 hours for the last 2 1/2 months and just turned it down to 1 hour yesterday and solar cover is on all the time.. Need to buy a wet suit :lol:The pool temp is 74
