I dropped my CYA sock into the pool. It was mostly dissolved, so I couldn't tell if there was any CYA in it. I dropped it in while untying it, and now there's little white granules floating around in the pool. Not a lot of them, but they exist. Are they harmful to me or the pool if I swim, or can I just ignore them aside from the inevitable minor discomfort from steppage, so long as everyone in the pool rinses off afterward?

You are fine to get in there and get, it won't hurt you and for the granuals brush your pool and it will help them dissolve.....Mike
As Fast said, don't worry about it. It's a very weak acid and safe to handle a few granules.
