47 Pounds of Calcium Chloride

My pool is 2 yrs old, it has always been sparklingly clear and still is.
I did a full range of tests today and Pool Math advises 760 oz (47.5 Pounds)of Calcium Chloride. Does that sound right? Have any of you ever added that much to a pool?
