I have a 16 x 32 inground pool. The skimmer is on one side, 10.5 feet from the wall in the shallow end. The two returns are on the other side, one 7 feet from the wall in the shallow end. The other return is 9 feet from the wall in the deep end. One drain in the deep end. Should both returns aim for the skimmer, or should one aim toward the drain?

You want to aim the returns to create a consistent circular flow of water around the pool (in either direction). If possible it is also good to aim one returns down towards the bottom of the deep end, but that needs to be consistent with the overall flow.
