My PB is recommending a Trident Series 2 UV system for my 17000 gallon inground Gunite pool. Does anyone have any experience with this system? Any advice would be appreciated!

UV systems are really a waste of money for an outdoor pool ... the sun provides plenty of UV to breakdown the CC in the pool.
The bulbs are continually decreasing in intensity as they are used. And often people do not even realize the bulb has burnt out ... when the pool miraculously has been fine without a functioning UV system
