Dolphin deluxe question

I put have a Dolphin Deluxe 4 cleaner I bought and used one year and it worked great when I put it away. The pool has been cleaned manually and the water is balanced. When I put it in the pool and the suction motor will not start. The robot goes back and forth about a foot either direction a few times and then shuts off. Any ideas?

When it stops moving press the reset button and check to see if the clean bag light flashes yellow. Dolphin motors have resistance sensors that can shut the motor off if they sense to much restriction either from clogs, cold water, or a just plain faulty sensor.

Your could also take it out of the pool and run it on its side and listen for clicking that would indicate the track is slipping off of the roller guide and jamming.
