When to add salt when shocking

I started with emerald green a few days ago and am now a milky blue green....still can't see the bottom....I'm going to change the filters after I finish writing this....

Should I wait until I clear up all the algae and then add salt and restart my salt water generator or should I be adding the salt now?

Here were my readings this morning:

FC 14.5
cc 2.5
TC 17.0
TA 70
CYA 50
PH 7.2

Wait until the shock process is complete, then put in the salt. It'll dissolve right away and be ready for the SWG by the time you get ready to use it.

I'd wait until everything is clear and you've done the final backwash of the filter. Why put in salt if you're just going to flush it out?
