Pool calculator help

I don't think I'm understanding what I should do. Here's my test results:
Fc 15 (finishing a shocking process)
Cc 0
Ph 7.6
Ta 150
Ch 40
Cya 45

I'm wanting to bring down my ph so that i can get my ta down. The pool calculator says add 6.6 oz volume dry acid, but when i plug that in it shows that it will barely change anything. Does the option at the bottom of the calculator want oz in weigbt or volume?

Separately from the other comments, you shouldn't try to adjust the PH when FC is above 10. High FC levels can throw off the PH test results. Wait until FC comes down before making any PH adjustments.

TA really only buffers the pH. Having it high can tend to make the pH rise. If you are not having a problem with pH rise and having to add acid all the time to lower the pH, then there is no need to worry about it.
