just a rough estimate on how much per sq ft to til a pool?nothing high end just trying to figure out if it`s worth tiling over painting every 5 or 6 years.

No idea on the cost, but there have been a few posts here about nightmares trying to tile the entire pool. If not done correctly, the tiles start to fall off.
Have you considered the aggregate products? They should last significantly longer than 5-6 years.

The cost will depend on labor rates in your area, so it'll be very different in Los Angeles vs. Thailand. Where are you located? As with all surfaces, prep is key, and if done well it will last a long long time.
i`m in southern mexico and was just trying to figure out rough prices.my pool is about 1400 sq ft so i`m just trying to figure a ballpark price for tiles.
