We have an inground pool and spa that are connected. The spa is higher than the pool. Last night we turned on the spa (have not done so in about a month). When we came out, there was water running from the spa (raised) down the sucrete. We looked and could see water coming out of a small hole in between where the spa meets the surcrete/meets the flagstone that surrounds our pool. We have never seen this before but upon more inspection, the water must have been pooling around our spa a little bit because there is some green algea in some areas in the small crack where the spa meets the surcrete. Does that make sense?
Our pool is less then 5 yrs old. We had a 3 yr warranty on equipment but not sure if this will be covered. Any ideas. Is this considered a "shell" issue? I have an email through to our pool co. but it will prob. be awhile before he contacts us. This is our first pool and we are sorta at a loss of what needs to be done. Any and all input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
