I am a newbie here and new to pools. I'm an old timer, retired military a long time ago. Just bought a new house with a pool... have never had to maintain a pool before. Have been doing the best I could for the past month and finally found this forum. Will be in school, Pool School, for a while. Just ordered the recommended pool test kit. Have been using the strip test method for the past month and think it is time to get serious about maintaining my pool. Found the web site " The Pool Calculator" so hope it will also help me get it right. Thanks in advance for answering my questions. Ron, Cape Coral, FL
