For people that are lazy like me and don't feel like stooping over or getting on your knees to clean out your skimmers, I ordered a snake hook. It works great for removing the lid to skimmers and also to get the skimmer baskets out to clean them. I have found several uses besides that to, like getting the Polaris hose,ect. I guess you could get snakes outta your pool too if needed. I also aggravate my dog with it :-D . Here is a pic and also a link where to get one. I ordered my through amazon but it came from these people. I didn't get the collapsible one. I got the cheap $22 one.
