Hopper liner for 28' round AGP?

Has anyone used one? Pool installer says they work fine on oval and rectangular but they can't smooth them out on a round liner? Make any sense?

I've seen several topics about the expanded liner pools and none of them have complained about not being smooth. I think the installer just doesn't want to go to the trouble.

Thank you for the reply. The installer is willing to do the install. they just said for some reason the round hopper bottom (not expandable) liners are very hard to get as smooth as they want them, no problem with rectangular or oval.

What is your reason for doing the hopper verses an expandable liner?

I don't want a plain blue overlap liner.

Expandable liners come in a variety of patterns, I have one called "water effects". Do you mean you want patterned waterline border?

I'm sorry, didn't emphsiase the correct word. I don't want an overlap liner and I DO want the hopper. I think so anyway.

If you want a hopper the right way to do it is to dig the hopper in the pool and then get a liner made to the custom dimensions of your pool. Not the other way around.
