Algae is gone, now stains remain

I asked the guy that designed my SWG and he said not to worry about running it longer, he said it will only marginally reduce the life.

Yes, I have a number of brown stains, definately not algae related and the greenish type stain around the main drain. I am at 26 FC as of tis morning with no CC level. I was at 14FC last night with 2CC level.

I have the SWG running 20 hours a day now instead of the normal 10 hours. I checked PH this morning. It had gone up to 7.8. I added Acid to reduce the PH.

Don't stop now! I have read the whole book and it seems that it stopped in early January.
I'm interested to find out if you got the water in line after all that work and chemicals.
What are your numbers today and did you finally get rid of the green stuff.

actually I did get rid of it all, it was gone for about 2 months, but has recently resurfaced again. I will post a new post to discuss that.
