How to clean water line tile grout

Hey Everyone...

I have tried a few things with not success. The tile line grout around the pool is a bit dingy looking.

Some of the pool places suggested playing liquid chlorine or a acid mixture and scrubbing it.

Any other suggestions or advice.

For dirty tiles, I use a pool tile cleaner from Lowes that seems to remove most of the scum. But for scale, I use a Kleanzit eraser which works well but requires a lot of work.
