should i add more chlorine even when it rain? (also 20-60% chance rain for the next 5 days)

I usually do. That keeps me from having to go put chlorine in the pool while it is raining. Typically, I will add 1 to 2 ppm more FC than normal when I know that it is going to rain. Always a good idea because rain brings lots of organics into the water. Boosting the FC ahead of the rain helps you stay on top of things.

I just had a 3/4 inch rain day ago and heard myself say while testing..........."Where'd my other 2ppm of FC go!" It ate 2 more ppm than my usual.
