Solar cover and debris cover on at night?

Hi all,

Are there any advantages / disadvantages in putting both the solar cover and debris cover on every night when the pool isn't in use? Obviously the solar cover goes on when the pool is not in use but I'm checking that putting the debris cover on in the evening doesn't effect anything.

Are you concerned about the debris cover affecting the chemical balance? I don't think it would. I put the solar cover on at night which pretty much prevents outgassing and evaporation and I see no difference in chemical balance. Covering that with an additional tarpaulin would not make any difference, in my opinion, for the short term.
