2nd Opinion: How did I get an algae problem?

The wind never stops long enough to get a TFP clear pic of the bottom by me. The ripples always distort the view. :(

"Pretty clear" isn't TFP clear.
Set a reminder or alarm on your phone to take a daytime pic or two.
Gotta be home too. I’ll try to get one with daylight this evening.

I’m not sure I’ll ever not put a qualifier before “clear.” For anyone who’s ever seen Fracture, there’s the scene where Anthony Hopkins talks about the eggs. There’s always a flaw.

Gonna run one more OCLT tonight, will make 6 passing OCLT’s in a row. I’m not sure what else I can expect in my water clarity other than actually not having water. Of course, wind was blowing and kids were splashing in the pool when I got home to take a picture 🤷‍♂️.

Looks solid to me. I would just return to normal pool maintenance. Keep FC on higher end of the range for your CYA.
Agreed. Going on 4 days of full sun since I’ve added chlorine and just now getting to normal test levels, 10 FC but is still above my range(2-8ppm) for my CYA of 50. I think officially my SLAM took 7 days. Definitely enjoyed the TFP clear water this weekend. Thanks everyone!

Stay well on the high side of the target range FC based on your CYA level.
And don't ever let the FC get below minimum, unless you really enjoyed doing the SLAM Process and want a repeat.
