I have a polaris 280 pool sweeper. It has a backflow valve that pulls the sweeper out of corners, effectively putting it in reverse for a minute or so every so often. I just discovered it has ruptured and cracked the ring that seals it all together for the second time in as many years. Any idea what's causing this? It seems like it would take a lot of pressure to break what is pretty heavy plastic.
