AGP with dished out middle....which robotic cleaner?

I have read nearly all 15 pages in the pool cleaner section but haven't found anyone specifically address a robotic for an AGP without a flat bottom. I am leaning towards the aquabot but wondered if anyone with an AGP sans flat bottom has had any problems?

The sloping to the center is gradual and has nearly a 5 ft depth. I did see that aquabot has a hybrid (can be used in IG and AG pools) but I wonder if it will cause liner wear and tear AND it is nearly 100.00 more

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

You might want to look at something like the Blue Pearl. It works well in any pool and gets good reviews.

I think 800.00 is out of my price range these days....I was thinking of nudging that back down to 400.00 or less. I do appreciate the feedback though, I hadn't heard of Blue Pearl.

I have a Pool Rover that I bought several years ago & it didn't pan out for me. One of it's back wheels kept getting hung up trying to "drive" itself out of the deep end. Other than that it worked good, but for me it's not worth using. I use my Pool Buster vac most of the time.

How deep is your deep end? Was it a steep slope? Was it the Rover or rover jr?
