22x52 above ground pool

Welcome to TFP! Do you have a TF-100 or Taylor K-2006C to test the water? That would ideally be #1. But follow these steps for now:
1. New water won't have stabilizer (CYA). So use the PoolMath to increase your CYA to 40.
2. For this day 1, add enough regular bleach to increase the FC to about 3 ppm. Tomorrow increase to about 5-6 and never let it drop below 3.
3. PH should be in the mid 7s (7.3-7.7) at all times. If you find it over 7.8, knock it down with muriatic acid.
4. Verify your test kit please. TF-100 or Taylor K-2006?

That's a start for now until you can confirm which test kit you have and post a full set of new numbers. In the meantime, please see our ABCs of Pool Water Chemistry and read/save those Vital links below in my signature. Don't forget to update your sig as well. I had to assume you do not have a salt pool. If that is not the case, let us know or we'll see it when you update your sig. Don't forget the test kit.

Adding CYA:
To increase CYA via granular stabilizer, place the required amount as calculated by the Poolmath calculator into a white sock and place in the poolside skimmer basket. For those concerned about suction flow to the pump, suspending the sock near a return jet or from a floating device will also suffice. Best never to allow undissolved granules to rest directly against the pool surface. Squeeze the sock periodically to help it dissipate. Once dissolved, consider your CYA adjusted to that programmed (target) level. CYA test readings should show a rise in 24-48 hours, however some pools may experience a longer delay to fully register. Best to confirm final CYA in about 5-7 days before adding any more stabilizer/conditioner.
