Use of adjustable returns....

My IG concrete pool has two returns. Right now their just straight returns, you can't direct the flow using the eyeball returns.

Are you using adjustable returns or not? Any advantages either way?

The eyeballs let you put more flow on the surface, which helps with moving bugs and debris toward the skimmer. You can also use them to help keep the flow from messing up auto cleaners.

I have four total and I use one to point down into the deep end for deep water heating while the other three are used to push debris toward the skimmer.

This is why I posted the poll. Seems like small leaves and stuff kinda just clings to the sides. I had the eyeballs on last year, just never put them back on this year.

I wonder if more surace circulation leads to more evaporation.
