With the equipment *off* how did they expect any of the chemicals they added to circulate into the pool?

I've had yellowing on my cement under the cover edge over winter when not opening the pool as often. I've ignored it and it bleached out on its own quite a bit over summer. I don't have SunDek or any finish on my cement decking.

I don't know if it was the actual liquid MA or just the vapors??
