2 pumps into 1 filter

Hi I am installing 2 VSP into 1 cartridge filter. 1 pump for 1 skimmer and solar, 2nd pump for other 2 skimmers.

How do I balance the flow and pressure before the tee into the filter? Thinking about installing flow meters on both pump outlets as I am worried one pump will overpower the other.

Any other thoughts I should consider?

The very first question is why 2 pumps?

Just use 1 pump to power everything.. if you are only using 1 filter everything after the filter will be using the same water so with 2 pumps you are just adding cost and a problem to fix... 1 3hp pump can do all that with no issue and with the new VSF pumps you can do GPM instead of RPM if you want..

If you are trying to completely separate the solar you would need another pump and filter but really that is easy to do on a 1 pump system with Jandy neverlube unions...
