HI Everyone, Just found TFP. My wife decided she needs an in-ground in our tiny backyard. So soon construction will begin on our "spool." 10' x20' she has picked a contractor and we've got their proposal. Now I'm jumping into the fray to figure out what is the best equipment. Contractor recommends Intellicenter control system, Polaris 280 sweeper, Pentair 420 filter, Pentair VSP, Mastertemp 400K btu heather, Pentair booster pump, Pentair Globrite lights and Pentair EasyTouch. And an Aquamatic pool cover. I hope someone can venture opinions on the equipment. Good, too much, or too little? I've been searching the Forums and it is easy to find problems with all those products, but hopefully someone will have something good to say. Also since the engineering and digging have not started, any words to the wise?

Thank you,
Larry

The IntelliCenter is a good system. Not sure why you mention EasyTouch as that's superseded by IntelliCenter.

You don't say which Pentair VSP, but you need the Intelliflo to work with automation (the Superflo won't).

Have you thought about how you're going to sanitize including the use of Salt Water Chlorine Generators?

I'm sure you'll have a lively discussion regarding the Polaris 280 as many people here prefer a robot instead.
