Does anyone use a separate pump for a pool slide? I would like to install an independent pump so I don't have to close and adjust returns when kids want to use slide
What’s the water requirement of the slide? Where are you going to get the water for this slide pump? You can tee into a skimmer or main drain line but that’s not ideal. I’d suggest reconfiguring the return plumbing/valves so a single turn of a valve gets the slide working. You would have to walk back there anyway to turn on the new pump so that’s not saving you the trip lol. A couple of valves and fittings should be cheaper than a new pump, outlet and switch. Unless you have one of those monster slides that needs a lot of water, a 2nd pump shouldn’t be needed
