Hello,

I been a long time lurker. Wife and I moved into a new house and we are starting our pool build. We have narrowed down our PB to two, so hopefully in a few days we'll sign a contract and go from there.

Welcome to TFP! What were/are some of your desires for the pool? Something you want to share?

The main desire for the pool is to keep the wife happy, she loves the water. Our last house we had an above ground pool, 3k gallons. In that house, the back yard wasn't conducive to having a pool so we made due with that type of pool for 7 years. We purposely bought this house to have a pool put in. We are looking at having a 14k gallon in-ground gunite with spa.

My next door neighbor did that. Moved his city girl to the country and got her the pool she dreamed of. He started drinking heavily, she split and neither of them enjoys the pool after the foreclosure. Best of luck and happy holidays!
