Paint overspray in my pool

Roughly two years ago I adopted TFP method and my water has been flawless since. This week a metal spiral staircase was painted right next to my pool, and overspray turned my water a little cloudy.

Any ideas on how to fix it? For any chemists out there, attached pic is the paint that was used.

My first thought is helping the filter out some with a good cover on the skimmer basket. I am also thinking something like this will help: Amazon.com : Rola-Chem Scumbug Oil-Absorbing Sponge - Pack of 2 : Garden Outdoor

I would be very watchful on the water line and wipe it often so nothing sticks to it.

Looks like it is an oil based paint. Oil and water don't mix and that is probably what you are seeing. The scumbug may capture the oil over time. I don;t knwo how well your cartridge filter will capture the oil.
