We've been in the home three weeks, inheriting the pool and after returning from a business trip this week, I came across the Polaris Tail stuck in the wall inlet. I tried pulling it gently out, but it does not want to budge. The cleaner has been working well the whole time until I saw this.

Any secrets or suggestions before I call the pool service out? I've been looking around for a local firm to help me out but with all the moving, painting and work travel I've had to wait on that.

Thanks for any suggestions.

That line looks to be the Skimmer equalizer line and it is possible to have suction on it if you are using the float assembly that sits under the basket. For the tail to be pulled in that far the float would have to close ,putting the suction on this line.
