Pool Chillers

Live in Texas and building a sport pool...so asssuming it will get warmer than normal with no deep end.

Pool is about 40’ x 20’ and would like to add a chiller.

Anyone with experience have good brands they can recommend?

Hey I would go for the pentair ultra temp heat pump. It will cool your pool down pretty well. Do not get a Glacier. Pools in tx get uncomfterablely warm in the summer and glaciers cant cut it.UltraTemp High Performance Heat Pump - Pool and Spa Heaters - Pentair

I have one of these, a Pentair 140. I have only run the chiller part for a bit to test it out, we didn't get quite hot enough this year to really need it. But sitting under our sheer waterfalls, it sure chills that water down nicely. The heat works as advertised as well, that we have been using a lot lately.
