Which salt to buy today

Hey people. My builder has no salt. So I got to go to the store.

Wally World has Clorox pool salt. No other info on bag except high purity fast dissolve.

Leslie has ultrafine pool salt. They say there is nothing else in it.

Many advice from those 2?

i know some saltcrhey put stain junk in them. Didn’t want to mess things up

I'd just go to Home Depot and get water softener salt with no additives. It is under $5 for a 40lb bag. But any salt with NO additives at all. As pure as you can get.
 
I agree on the water softener salt. Do NOT get one with Iron protection or whatever. Just plain. Most places that is a blue bag.

Do NOT use Clorox pool salt. Many reports of iron staining from using that brand salt.
