Dolphin Swivel cord

I found a new S50 for $400 but it lacks the swivel cord. Is that a deal breaker or what?
Is the older model S50 the same as the active 10 or e10 but without swivel?

Any help is appreciated!

Could be. My E10 definitely has no swivel.

My cord has not ever bound up in a bad way.

It bound just a little the other day, but leaving it out in the sun for 30 minutes usually fixes that.

This sounds silly, but I'm not sure a swivel option is even available at that price point.

Having one would be a plus, but I can live without one.

Regular price is $449 and newer model e10 has swivel. The bad about a swivel is its another waterseal and can break. It also can just not really perform as expected.

My s200 has a swivel and I loved it. It really does help.
But....your original question asks if not having one should be a deal breaker. To that I would answer....no.

Agreed. Though if I had a swivel I'd probably appreciate it (if it worked). It would save me a minute or so of cowboy lassowing of the cord to get the 3-5 twists obtained in my back-to-back runs.
