tf-100 vs Taylor

a couple of questions regarding the TF-100 test kit:
- I noticed the reagents that came with my TF-100 have only one year left on them (only those that are labeled from Taylor). Is this normal or should I have expected 2 years?
- The reagents have the same number / tag as those supplied by Taylor. Is this on purpose or are these knock-offs of the original Taylor reagents? do I need to be concerned? (genuine question out of ignorance)

TF-100 reagents *are* Taylor reagents. The kit is just designed in size and quantities for the way we test...more of the things we test most, less of the lesser often tests.

And its a better price than the K-2006C, the comparable kit.

The reagents last longer than a year although they recommend getting fresh yearly.

TFtestkits that create and sell the tf100, buy the genuine Taylor reagents in bulk and repackage them in more useful quantities.

Do the reagents that are filled by TFtestkits have a shelf life too? I don't have my test kit on me now, but I don't remember seeing an expiry date on them.

I don't think it is listed on them. But they are good for away least a year.

They run a sale in March every year for full refill set at less than $40

Since I have a Taylor K-2006c can I still use the TF-100 refill kit? As in, is it interchangeable with the Taylor labeled agents

The only reagent different between the TF-100 and the K-2006 is the one for the pH which is different concentrations for the different vial sizes.
