Skimmers question

Hey guys,
Quick question, I'm gonna be ordering a Hayward skimmer for my pool soon. I want this to go off without a hitch. Lol. So I was thinking of adding a layer of 2 of vinyl to the outside where the skimmer will go to strengthen the location. Where can I order a 2'x2' piece of pool vinyl? I have vinyl cement to attach already. Tha is for any help.

there is no need to do that, the gasket works fine. I would be concerned about too many layers causing a leak situation.

nobody seems to sell large patches of vinyl, you could look for somebody getting rid of an old liner on craigs list or something.
