Can I use a SWCG?

I have a 13 year old Atlantic above ground pool with steel walls, vinyl liner. Is it possible to use the SWCG with steel pool walls? Will they corrode?

You can use a SWG. The salt required is about 3,500ppm of salt. This isn’t enough to taste and shouldn’t cause any harm to the pool or equipment. We see out of range pH doing more harm than salt.

Get a good salt test and check your water. If you have been using chlorine there is probably a fair amount of salt already in there. When I got my SWG I ran out and bought the full amount of salt and then discovered I was already half way there!
