Well, got the HR 20 hooked up now and the older ones switched to bedrooms. Direct TV tells me I can get another HR 20 in 6 months for their approx. $20 handling fee.
It will take a little getting used to the new remote, but overall the picture seems a little clearer and brighter and the sound a bit better as well. Thanks again folks for letting me know I needed this new machine - bring on the new HD channels soon!
