Winter ice damage

I had some winter ice damage to my pool. The cover had a lot of water on it that caused part of the wall to cave in near the skimmer. The water in the pool was lower than the skimmer when it was closed. The pool wall came out of the bracket. I removed the rail and reattached the pool wall the the bracket and replaced the skimmer. This was done after i straightened the wall. My question is that the skimmer isn't quite level. Does it have to be perfectly level? Thanks.

I'd also worry about potential leaks around the skimmer with the wall being crinkled like that.

Wow, and I was disappointed that my winter cover ripped.

I’d be really weary of that, and I have to think I’d have a representative of the pool manufacturer take a look and suggest the best course of action
