Bad T-15 cell?

I thought my cell was bad because my Aqua Plus display was showing low salt. It was only reading 2000ppm and cell was off. So I took a water sample to local pool store and it was 3500ppm. So they told me I needed a new cell. I ordered a new Hayward T-15 cell from Pool Supply. When I got delivered it is doing the same thing. Only reading 2000ppm. I am lost any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I wouldn’t trust pool store. Get your own salt test kit and you can monitor yourself. I use the Taylor K-1766.

You can also have the cells tested at most pool stores to confirm whether they work or not.

Did you check diagnostics for instant salinity?

Turn on Superchlorinate. Go to diagnostics. Press > twice to get instant salinity. Press + to save and update.
