Advice for uncementing this bulb from the glass globe?

In another thread, someone helped me find an alternate bulb for the one that fits my very old pool light. My next issue to overcome it getting the bulb out of the glass housing. It has been cemented and glued in. Apparently, that is the recommendation on what to do. I am slowly digging at the sides of the ceramic bass with a screwdriver that I ground down to make an awl. See video. It isn’t going well. Any better ideas? I can’t buy a new globe or I would. Which leads me to ask, can I buy one somewhere?

A friend of mine suggested soaking the base in solvents. I have the reflector part above the solvent line. 14 hours in acetone and there was a slight softening on the edges, but no progress. I put it back in the acetone while I contemplate the next solvent to try to dissolve the glue. Any suggestions?

I got it out! I can get a new bulb for about $40 including shipping. I need to cement the bulb in again. Any suggestions on adhesive that can withstand high temps, but that I could dissolve again?

I soaked the base in acetone for 38 hours. I made sure I didn’t get any on the painted reflector part. It looked like it might be gummy. I bent a safety pin tip about a 1/4” from the tip at a 90 degree angle and poked in one of the side holes. Sure enough it was sticky. Couldn’t push, pull, or turn the bulb. Then I decided to put a lever between the two pins and apply gentle steady pressure while holding the globe. After doing that for about 20 seconds, the bulb spun and broke free.
