Hello everyone, I stumbled on this site a little late into the game as my pool build is almost completed, but I thought I'd share pics on the progress from the beginning.

PS: I know this is a small build compared to some, but it was fun to watch it get done none the less so I felt I should share.

Hi and welcome [emoji1309] Looks like you’ve had a nice smooth build so far. I have to say, I can’t believe how clean the area is. Very neat job. Even the mess of gunite is very well contained. Keep us posted. It doesn’t look like it will be long until you are swimming.

Pool Fill and Acid Bath: 4/12~4/13/2018

And that brings us up to date. Next step is Stamped overlay to deck, landscaping, and SOD which will start on Monday 4/16/2018.

I wish I would have found this site sooner because now I know I don't need the stupid UV unit my PB sold me.

Update on Landscaping: Got most of the landscaping in today as well as first coat to the deck. Here is a sneak peek of the landscaping which still needs mulch and sod to be completed.

We still have to put the fire glass in the fire bowls as well...

Decking completed 4/19/2017....all that's left is SOD. On a side note they installed the white lights instead of LEDs so they have to change them out.

You don't have to worry about the uv system messing anything up so it is okay you have it. I am going to share a set of links I set up for new pool owners. They will help you learn how to care for your new baby pool. Print these out:
