Hi all!
Long time reader, first time poster!
We are starting our Owner/Builder pool project in Henderson next week and I have some questions about the deck drain...
The plan we designed has an interrupted deck that will be comprised of sand finished formed concrete and Mexican Beach pebble, so it's not a continuous concrete deck.
With this type of design, do we still need to install a deck drain? I'm under the assumption that we don't have to, but I can't find any definitive information within the building code.
If anyone has any experience or information with this type of deck, I would love to hear your feedback! I am including a SketchUp drawing of the pool for further clarification.
Thank you, and I look forward to your responses!
