Need Decking help! New Build in Dallas

Hello all! We are currently building in Dallas, Texas. We are installing travertine for the pool deck. I'm really having a hard time figuring out how to tie in the new pool deck to our existing patio. It's a dark stamped concrete, which I hate. How can we tie in the travertine decking? Looking for any ideas!! Ifbwe do travertine tile over our porch, will it look like we tried to match it, but it doesn't work?

Pics are blurry!! Will get better ones up soon. You get the idea though.

s,

Welcome to TFP.. a great place to find the answers to all your blurry pool questions... :shark:

You can certainly add travertine right over your old concrete deck and it should look fine... The only problem is that you might have to have a step down from the old deck area, and depending on the level of the existing concrete, there may not be enough space under any door thresholds..

Thanks for posting,

Jim R.
