Fill Water Testing from Hose or just filled Pool? Pebble Finish getting filled today

My pool will be getting filled this afternoon after a StoneScapes pebble finish is acid washed this morning. I just bought my Taylor K2006 (after 2 decades of doing a poor job with basic kits... but not any more!).

I will likely need assistance from TFP getting started, so my question is:

Should I test my "fill water" from my yard hose? Or is the "fill water" scooped from the pool when its mostly filled so I'll have the numbers with the effects of the latent acid and whatever higher ph the pebble/plaster adds?

Or both?

Hey, the guys just arrived to acid wash it. Thanks all in advance,

wm,

Test the water from your hose...

I would not test the actual pool water until your pool builder turns the pool over to you.. Only because you can't do anything about the readings, and it will make you feel ill... :p

Once yours, you will be able to whip it into shape pretty quickly.

Thanks for posting,

Jim R.
