No - cannot walk on it... Everything looks good so far. They may be able to do the Gunnite after rebar and rough plumb tomorrow.

thats a very exciting part of the build! looks great! hope this good weather holds up!
I don’t think there will be any more measuring as they are likely shooting the Gunnite before I get home from work.
did they have any ideas or suggestions?? Having Gunnite come back today. The steps are 12, 13 and 10. We wanted 4 steps with a railing anchored in the pool but could not be 4 steps with the in pool anchor so they put in 3. We will switch to an on deck anchored railing and 4 steps while we still can.
yeah...............those steps look big/tall. Good call!

That look awesome! Have you started bonding with yet? aka watering it....it helps it cure slower. It might still have a few small cracks but that is normal so don't worry.

Just realized they did not install the channel main drain and put in two of the normal drains. If I want the channel still they have to bust out a 4x4 area... is it purely aesthetics for the channel drain with pebble? I’m not sure it’s worth busting up the pool floor.
OH no!! Yeah it for looks but some cleaners can have a hard time with the round ones but some the covers can help with that.

I think I’ll live with it as is. The builder said he would make it up to me somehow.
