Pool eats CYA

I'm confused on this statement. "Standard available to compare" reminds me of the pH shades of red scale test NOT the disappearing dot for CYA test???

There is a 50ppm standard solution available. It is used as the sample in the CYA test and yields a 50ppm reading.

Ok. That should work. Some folks with the round CYA tube found in the TFT kits have found that the CYA Standard read closer to 40ppm and not 50ppm.

Fill #9058 comparator block to the 50ppm mark and then find the lighting conditions that give you the most complete occlusion of the dot possible. Those are then the conditions you should replicate when testing.
