Running an extension cord to blower would be the most time consuming, part of that "blow & go" -- he is a cheerful guy though & looks like he is having fun[emoji106][emoji106]
I think that one must watch as many videos as possible and take in all the information. Then figure out what applies to your own pool, situation and equipment. I have seen some pretty bad videos from pool professionals and homeowners alike, and then some real good videos. Most of the learning process happens right here on the TFP Forum! The plugs that Khanair used are probably one of the easiest ways to clear a system with an air compressor, let alone have never seen any videos. Personally, I think this would be a great idea with 2 plugs in the pump basket. One for the suction side and one for the return side. You can also work from the skimmer like he did.
