Help Spa drained for no reason

Hello all, I purchased a home with an elevated hot tub and inground pool and have been really enjoying it, but today went outside and saw the hottub draining completely empty. There is a little bit of water coming into the pool from the jets, but it drains out of the bottom.

I know nothing about the equipment but I can hear a "whirring" noise like the pump is running.

Welcome to TFP... A Great resource for all pool owners with Empty Spa Syndrome...

I suspect that your Intake and Return valves are not in the correct position.

If you can post a couple of pictures of your equipment pad, we should be able to help you out.

Do you have to manually turn your valves to use the Spa, or do you have an automation system?

The more you tell us the more likely that someone here will know the answer..
