I have a Pentair Mastertemp 400. Troubleshooted to determine if was the control panel. I pulled the old control panel and attempted to order a new one. What I received from Amazon looks close but quite the same. Old control panel was part number 42002-007 REV C. New part number is 42002-007 REV L. What I can't tell is whether these are different parts or whether REV L is an improvement on REV C but still interchangeable. See pics below. I want to avoid opening up the sealed new control panel until I'm comfortable I have the right part.

Yes the rev(revision) level is just a newer board and should work just fine. You go by the part number and not the rev level as they do change. Notice the chip, R13 on the old and the new is R14. Again just a newer revision level and should work fine in your system.
