I have a Summer Waves 14x42 above ground pool. I set the pool up originally on my patio which has brick pavers. After a couple months the liner sunk down some into the cracks and I believe that is what caused the floor liner to stretch and get small tears and holes. I have a new liner coming. I would like to know if anyone has set up a vinyl pool on pavers and what was used under the pool? Any suggestions?

I really don't think that would be a good idea unless you use something solid like plywood to keep the liner from doing the same thing. You will have to put something over the plywood to protect the liner from it's roughness.
Many seasonal pool owners use 1" thick sheets of foam for the base. The large pink 4x8 sheets can be found at your local big box home improvement store.

Use a very strong tape to triple tape the seams so they don't separate and cause the issues you have with the pavers.
