What size pump/HP will be needed to control three 18 inch sheers, two bubblers and the negative edge spa? PB bid 2 Pentair Intelliflo VS 2 pumps. One for the pool and one for what I mentioned above.

The advantage of using VS pumps is you can tailor their output to match the need for any task. When building a new pool the cost difference for top of the line variable speed pumps is really insignificant in the overall cost of the pool. If I were doing a new pool, the pump I would use would be a Pentair Intelliflo. Any additional cost difference for the VS pump will be recovered in energy savings.
